Kim Fairchild is a norwegian actress/ singer / author.
Born in New York 1966 and living in Norway since 1968.
She started out as a soul/jazz singer and her performance as Billie Holiday in the play " All of me" written by Tore Nysæther, landed her some openings as an actor on norwegian scenes across the country.
In 2004 she recorded the album " All of me" to support the performance which was sold out 2019 in Oslo and Trondheim 2020.
As a an excellent performer on big stages as well as small- she has performed every summer on Piraten -club in Stavern - with her Abba show since 2010.
For several years she has toured Norway with her powersoul band Ruffmix- later called Kim Fairchild Band.
She was also writer, producer and singer of the electronic-duo Purple Scream.
Kim Fairchilds voice can be found in the backgroundvocals of several norwegian artists, such as Odd Rene Andersen, Ole Ask and Hellbillies.
Of and on she has been leadvocal with The Royal Norwegian Navy Band. In 2013 , the christmasalbum "A very merry dashing smashing jingle ringing swinging christmas "was recorded.
In 2017 she recorded the album " Natural", a record with mostly own songs ,touring Norway from south to the north.
2020 she wrote the book "Den første" ( The first one ) about her childhood. She is currently holding presentations at schools about growing up on the outside of society.

2021 she played policeofficer Judith in the Netflixseries called "Post Mortem- ingen dør på Skarnes"
Kim Fairchild speaks norwegian and english fluently.
2023 she travelled Norway with Riksteatrets "Hør a dagbok ."
Currently working at Rogaland Teater in "Fanny og Alexander".
